The village Ozdere was known as an "original fishing-village without mass-tourism in a romantic Bay in the Aegean Sea " many years ago. Since about 20 years it can be added to this statement that Ozdere turned into a village that is also for tourists. Now, Ozdere is a gentle touristic place with a good infrastructure and a mild climate during the whole year. There are a little less than 9000 inhabitants and around several high quality hotels (small pensions and summerhouses not included). The village is very suitable for families with children, because there are excellent sandy beaches and enough peace and quiet.
